Friend and brother
I remember....
He was such a funny guy. Living with him for more than a year, I got to see a lot of funny things from this guy. David and Vincent did things that were probably dumb to some people, but to me, they were funny. Have you seen the movie “Dumb and Dumber?” B-I-N-G-O!!! That was them.
I remember…
He was a thoughtful guy. I told him once that I needed some gloves, because I got a motorcycle. Later that week, he handed me a pair of gloves. It was not motorcycle gloves. They were one of those nice fashionable gloves, one wore during special occasions. The gloves were coated with rabbit fur. So slow.
I remember…
In the worst situation anyone was in, he made it better. His humorous gestures, his comforting words, but most of all, his presence seemed to shine through the gloomiest day.
I remember…
He never got angry; at least, he did not get angry over dumb things. Except when I beat him in fantasy football, he got upset. =)
I remember…
His smile was like a teddy bear. It was soft. It was gentle. It was kind.
I remember…
And I will always remember.
